Overview
G-LUX outdoor LED spotlight with 1 x 3 Watt LED that produces up to 175 lumens. 12V AC/DC operating voltage, IP68 waterproof light. Black painted aluminum housing with adjustable mounting base, ground mounting stake, and glare shield. 4-13/16' power cord with plug and play G-LUX connector. Can also be used in an existing low-voltage landscape wiring system with a G-LUX pigtail power cable. Available in Cool White, Natural White, and Warm White with adjustable beam angle using included 15, 30, and 60 degree lenses, no tools required. Great light fixture
Excellent light, truly bright white light. I purchased several of these lights for up lighting of a tree and a few planters in my back yard. I integrated them into an existing light system. Very pleased with the results. The only con is the Arizona sun faded the black exterior color to a copper/brown shade in just a few months.

This the first report of the finish fading that we have received. We will be doing some testing here to see how bad the problem is and what can be done to fix it.
Absolutely Perfect Lighting
A total backyard renovation is in progress and I needed a way to light up 4 tree's which are located along the perimeter of our fence line. I ran these lights off the second set of terminals on the transformer a distance somewhere in the range of 100 feet. Looking at the product photo, it may seem that these lights are sized to what you normally see at the home improvement stores. No way, these things are small (fits in the palm of your hand) and put out an amazing amount of light. I was also very impressed with the amount of accessories provided at this price point.
Needless to say, the previous purchase was a trial to see if the product delivered. I can honestly say that these exceeded my expectations and it has transformed my backyard. I'm ordering an additional 4 for my large Crepe Myrtle's.

I like this light for:
1. Bright considering it is only 3 watts.
2. Light travels a good distance.
3. Warm white is just the right shade. Not too white or too yellow.
4. Small Size
5. Addition lenses for angle of light provided in package.
6. May be hooked up to any 12 volts system or you can purchase a small transformer which opens up the possibility for different ways to use/mount light.
7. Appears durable.
FYI! Longevity can only addressed as time goes by.
Definitely wouldn't buy.
Bought 11 of these about 4 years ago. In the first year alone, 4 of them stopped working. Currently only 3 of them work. They lights themselves had decent build quality to them but obviously not great internals. The added lenses were a cool touch even though I only needed one and the light output was fine. The ground stakes on the other hand were atrocious and the lights never stayed on them. The lights also didn't come with adapters or anything to connect them to the power unit wiring so that's another accessory you need to buy with them. I knew that before hand but they should have been included with the lights for the price.
Overall, they work fine if you're only using them for about a year otherwise you're just going to have to keep up with the hassle of constantly replacing them. And for the price, it's just really not worth it.
