Just what I was looking for
I wasn't sure how bright these would be. According to the website they only have 1 bulb for intensity. Which apparently has now been removed? Anyhow, they are perfect for my application. I am using them to light the stairs/steps on my deck. The only complaint I have is that the "Cool Blue" doesn't match the "Cool Blue" that I used to replace my landscaping lights but they still deserve 5 stars. I love the G-LUX connectors they are so quick and easy to use. I wish all of my landscaping lights used them.
I have attached some photo's because a picture is worth 1000 words. Some pics were taken using the low light option on my phone. It was nearly impossible to get an exact picture of how dark it was outside and how bright they are but I think you can get the idea from the photo.
Don't last long
I have 46 of these in my deck that I installed last summer. So far, I've had 2 fail. They didn't die completely - they just sucked a ton of voltage out of the grouping, so that all of the lights were very dim.
Finding the problem light is a case of trial and error. Once the problem light is disconnected, all the lights behind it suddenly come on full brightness. The problem is, you have to pull them up one by one and break the connection to find it. Hopefully you have the lights close enough together to be able to pull the connector out of the hole, or the ability to get behind the lights to get at the connector. Fortunately, I'd broken my lights up into 3 groups, so that cut down some of the work, but it's still annoying.
One light, I can call a fluke. 2 with exactly the same issue in less than 12 months points at a quality issue. Not impressed. At $10 each, these should be far more reliable. I feel like I bought cheap junk off of eBay.
