Product quality, excellent; product design, poor
The quality and size are perfect for installing into '2.5" deck posts. However, the description,"...directs a 150° beam of light where it's needed..." is grossly misleading.
As others have noted, these "Eyelid" lights have no eyelids. Rather than cast a downward pointing light beam as other "eyelid" lights, these cast the very bright beam out and up which makes them a poor choice for accent lights. They shine very brightly, right in you eyes whether standing or (especially) sitting on the deck. (see photo)
They are hazardous choice to illuminate deck steps. When going up the steps they shine right in your eyes blinding you rather than assisting you to see where you are stepping.
After failed attempts to add auxiliary 'eyelids' to direct the beams down onto the deck only, I settled by dimming them down to ~25% brightness, a marginally satisfactory compromise, but even so it was a terribly unsatisfactory purchase.

Really bright!
Exactly as I ordered! The only issue is they are actually way too bright. Part of the problem may be the dome over the LED could be larger to direct the light down versus out. I would think if you installed these on a full set of stairs they would hit you right in the face as you walked up.
