Still lighting perfect!
Installed these HB3/9005 LED bulbs for the DRL's on my 2007 Acura MDX about 18 months ago and never had any error message issues and are still working great! At the same time, I also changed the foglight bulbs to Osram LED H11 (yes authentic & expensive) and one of them is already out. For the price of each of these HB3 LED bulbs is a great deal considering the longevity of them. The cool white 6500K color temp is very accurate!
Needs resistor, even then you will get a default
Spent hours installing but bulbs flickered. Was told I needed a resistor but this did not solve.
Response from Super Bright LEDs:
Can you see me now ??.....NO!
Bulbs barely illuminate. My old Phillips halogen are clearly more noticeable at day or dusk. DRL light malfunction indicator comes on now. I thought the purchasing of Canbus bulbs would eliminate that. 216 lumens are totally insufficient for DRL. You have to do a double take to notice that they're on. That's not safety lighting. Maybe I should have purchased the non Canbus bulbs. They're almost double the lumens.
