finally 2" WHITE LED's!!!
I almost gave these 5 starts, just because they are finally available.
I am using them as back-up lights on my Jeep CJ-7 rock crawler (VERY limited space for lights back there).
While they are WORLDS brighter than the white incandescent TruckLite lamps they replaced, I sure wish they came in the 6 LED variety.
They are certainly bright enough to notice when they come on in reverse gear (the incandescents were not, unless in total darkness). They are however still a marker light. Looking at them in the dark they are moderately bright. They certainly do not have the intensity of a OEM reverse light.
I am pleased with them, but hope someday to have an even brighter choice for the 2" light.
Brighter for reverse light application
I'm using a pair of these as reverse lights in my ShrockWorks bumper on my Suzuki Samurai. The incandescents that came with the bumper were useless. These are much more useful, but I still wish they were much brighter. I have single LED flashlights that are much brighter. It seems liks these could be too, or at least have an option for it. I'd be willing to pay $50 for a truly bright set of these.
