So close
This bar is true to size and works wonderfully. Mounting it was a breeze. The DT connector is wonderful and if you buy the pre-assembled harness complete with relay/switch/DT connector you can have it wired in no time. To earn that coveted 5th star they would need to add reflectors to control the beam pattern a la PIAA but for the price, this is as good as it gets.
Excellent product
Need to land an airplane? Let this bar light up the runway. I bought the one with the combo beam and is this thing ever a Super Bright LED. I had a set of lights already mounted but decided to purchase the wiring harness to go with it. Best choice I could have made. The harness made it pretty much plug and play. Finally got a chance to use it out in the woods and it lights up everything. Appears to be extremely well made and is priced so a regular guy like me can afford it. Any future need of another light bar will either be another one of these or a similar one from SBL.
Almost perfect
I shopped several brands of light bars for my 2016 Tundra and found that this one give you the best balance between price, durability and performance. I paid a guy to install it and the only issue is that the mounting brackets do not have a height adjustment. Luckily, he had a set that fit my light bar. We needed to be able to lower the light bar 1/2 inch so it shines through the grill 100%. Otherwise, it would be angled too far down. One star deducted for that but otherwise OK.
love it
I almost gave this 4 stars because there was not one word of direction or instruction with the light, but it was easy to figure out and I had it installed in two hours however most of the first hour was figuring how it worked. but as you can see I gave it 5 stars, that's because I am impressed with the beam of light from this thing and with the wiring harness they recommend it was an easy install, the length of the wire was perfect for install on my tractor. As you can imagine the headlights on a tractor are easily blocked by the bucket, but this strip installed on the roll bar has me safely working into the evening. Thanks Superbrightleds
New Truck... New Light Bar
Bought a newer truck and had to get a new light bar. My last truck, 2011 Chevy 1500, had a 20" single row light bar in the open space in front bumper. So with my 2014 Chevy 2500, the front bumper opening is a larger and just big enough for a dual row straight light bar. I went with the COMBO version and it puts out plenty of light. I was thinking that I was going to have an issue with the light bar being in front of the trans-cooler that's behind the bumper, but so far temperatures increases have not been greatly noticeable. Cruising down the freeway at 75MPH the temperature I see about 145 to 150. I'll update with what temperatures I see when pulling my 33' toyhauler.
