Lower numbers give off a warmer white that is closer to candle light, and is good for relaxed and cozy spaces. Higher numbers give off a cooler white light that will appear more blueish. While values to the middle of the spectrum give off a more neutral or natural white light that is similar to daylight. Natural and cool white are considered ideal for task lighting. To reduce the effects of voltage drop and the resulting uneven illumination across a run, some products have constant current technology onboard each module. The higher the lumen rating, the brighter the strip will be. Higher lumen strips are usually better for under cabinet and task lighting. Max Run Max Run The Max Run of an LED strip is dependent on two things, voltage and density. 24 volt strips in most instances will give you a longer run than a 12 volt strip. However the LED density of the strip will have an effect on the maximum run. If your install needs to extend beyond a strips Max Run additional power feeds can be run back to your power supply.

Misleading description, but good for what it is.

These are not true amber, but PC amber (phosphor-converted) and there was no mention of this in the product description. I think it will work for my application but it's not ideal. The light is more like very warm white.

The construction of the strips themselves is good, and they are very bright. The adhesive is strong.

Rugged and reliable

This tape light has exceeded my expectations of performance and reliability. I am a lighting designer in the video/film production industry and the lighting fixtures we install are always temporary and will be removed when production has concluded. I considered this tape light as an expendable and bought extra tape to replace the working units as they failed due to the wear from being reinstalled repeatedly particularly since they often need to make lateral 90 degree bends. The original tape lights are still working perfectly and are holding up remarkably well plus their color purity is great and output is more than enough for our applications. This a very well made product in my opinion.

Love this product so much!
