Socket fits single-contact single-filament (BA15S) 1156 bulbs, dual-contact dual-filament (BAY15D) 1157 bulbs or dual-contact single-filament (BA15D) 1142 bulbs. These bulbs work with your vehicle's advanced computer system, so when your vehicle's computer reads them, they respond back correctly. To see if your vehicle operates with a CAN Bus system, simply remove the bulb you're looking to replace, start your vehicle, and if you have a "Bulb Out" message on your dash you have a CAN Bus system.	Polarity Sensitive Polarity Sensitive Polarity Sensitive (YES) Bulbs have Plus and Minus (like batteries) and will only work when polarity is correct. If bulb does not work when installed, turn it around in the socket. Polarity Sensitive (NO) Bulbs do not have Plus and Minus and will work either way installed in the socket.	Brightness Brightness For best results, the LED color should be the same as the lens color. If the bulb is behind a clear lens, use the appropriate color for turn and brake light functions. When installed in a housing that has a matching colored lens, red and amber bulbs will appear brighter than white LED bulbs - even though they have lower lumen outputs. As an example: a red lens will filter out all but the red portion of light from a bulb, so if the light being emitted from the bulb is all red, none or very little light will be blocked by the lens. The light from a white LED bulb contains very little light in the red portion of the visible spectrum, so most of the light that contributes to its higher lumen value would be filtered out by a red lens. This makes the white bulb appear dimmer than the red bulb.	Beam Angle Beam Angle Beam angle is used to express the width of the light emitting from the source. The narrower the beam angle the more focused the light energy is. Comparing two 40 watt lights one with a beam angle of 30(a) and another with a beam angle of 90(b), They both produce the same amount of light output but (a) will appear brighter in the beam angle compared to (b) at the sacrifice of light spread. Saved over $100 and my car

My regular car part store didn't sell these sockets, they said I had to go to the dealership to fix my problem. This was becoming a problem I could never afford. I just needed my brake light to work. So I turned to google. That is where I found this company. Thanking the Lord that I did. I found the socket I needed for only $.99 so I bought 3 of them just in case I messed up. First attempt on fixing it... IT WORKED !! I spent less than $6 total which included shipping for something the dealership told me would cost $130 just for the part, not the labor.
So thank you superbrightleds.com for relieving my stress and anxiety and for having a product that others didn't have.
Plus I still have two sockets left, for any future use I may have. I'm very happy and satisfied.

Exactly What I Needed

Low voltage landscape lighting replacement part.

Received quickly, & it was exactly what I needed to replace one that broke after 15 years of being in Michigan weather. I ordered enough to have on hand if any others break.
