STAC series LED Strip Light offers 16’ of consistent illumination, with adaptability to enhance a variety of outdoor spaces. Operating on 12 VAC and constructed to be water resistant, the tape light is designed to easily integrate into new or existing landscape systems. With a flexible, segmentable build, it can be customized to meet size needs of any deck railing, patio stairs, or architecture.

How long of a run can I make my strip?
The Max Run of an LED strip is dependent on two things, voltage and density. 24 volt strips in most instances will give you a longer run than a 12 volt strip. However the LED density of the strip will have an effect on the maximum run. If your install needs to extend beyond a strips Max Run additional power feeds can be run back to your power supply. What accessories do I need?
The only thing you need for certain to power a strip light is a power supply. We offer accessories used for installation, such as connectors and aluminum mounting channels. As well as others that add functionality such as such as dimmers, switches, and remote controls. Complete kits are also offered which include everything you need to get started.
How bright is the strip? What are lumens and how many do I need?
Lumens are the measure of how bright an LED strip will be when in use. The higher the lumen rating, the brighter the strip will be. Higher lumen strips are usually better for under cabinet and task lighting. Lower lumen strips are typically used for accent lighting applications.
What is color temperature? Which one is best?
Correlated Color Temperature is the hue, or tint of white to expect from a light source and is measured in kelvin. Lower numbers give off a warmer white that is closer to candle light, and is good for relaxed and cozy spaces. Higher numbers give off a cooler white light that will appear more blueish. While values to the middle of the spectrum give off a more neutral or natural white light that is similar to daylight. Natural and cool white are considered ideal for task lighting.

This website is not for beginners
It's too bright. Not enough information is on the site to make an informed decision overall. No explanation about dimmers, no explanation about the fact that I didn't need the connectors I bought with it, no clear explanation about where to cut the strip - had to figure it out. Spent a fortune on this light and then just as much on a dimmer (which there is only one kind in the world that works for this) at another site - only to have it still be way too bright. No instructions on how it wires up so I bought 2 connectors I didn't need - glad those were cheap! But overall, $102.00 in the toilet because people can't be bothered to properly commmunicate product information on a website.
The construction of the strip light is very good.
Haven't yet installed these but they are similar to some I already have. I have been very impressed with them and the ease of installation. Also I have been very impressed with the technical advice I received when I had questions about application. Very pleased with product and service.
